Research shows fear can be erased from the brain
Researchers from Uppsala University in Sweden studying fear in 2013 showed that it is possible to erase newly formed emotional memories. A lasting long-term memory is created when we recall something and then remembering thinking about it the last time. This reinforce the recalled info and makes it less likely to be removed from memory.
